I'm Félix Lavallée. I'm an artist and creator living in Montréal.I am currently between jobs and working on personal projects.

From early 2008 to late 2009, I worked for the Montreal-based company Tribal Nova, creating Flash animations for their various projects. These have included interactive web games for such released or unreleased series as Bob the Builder (for the american Public Broadcasting Service), Bo on the Go, The Mighty Jungle (Halifax Film), Spliced (Nelvana), Alfred Hedgehog (Muse Entertainment); as well as content for Tribal Nova's own web portal for kids, Woozworld (formerly Kids Studio).

Previously, I've worked five years for Tal Am, a company that makes educational material for jewish schools around the world. Most of my time there was spent doing illustrations and animations for multimedia games, working with Flash, Photoshop and Director. I've also frequently had to work on the programming for these games, in ActionScript and Lingo; as well as produce illustrations for books and posters. I've occasionally done 3D modeling and sound editing.

I have a college degree in Computer Science and in Traditional Animation.

For over four years, now, I've been working on my own time as well, authoring a webcomic and updating it weekly. I also keep an art blog, where I try to post sketches several times each week. When I have spare time left, I occasionally like to do random illustrations, Flash games, php coding, 3D models, pixel art and word games. In the rare times when my creative urges are sated, I read, most often Fantasy or Science Fiction; watch cartoons and/or play videogames.
